The Coast…

I’ve made my way to the West Coast of BC. Along the way I had the opportunity to visit a dear friend and amazing artist, Cathy Terepocki.
I’ve been making paintings along the way, some of them working towards a show, and some just for fun.
The Alicia Henry show at the Kamloops Art Gallery was really powerful.
Caught the Uninvited show at the Vancouver Art Gallery, “Canadian Women Artists in the Modern Movement”.
My Jeep and I play a little game: she leaves her engine light on, and I pretend not to stress about it while on a massive road trip. Yay.
Have experienced spectacular sunrises and sunsets here on the Coast, when it’s not raining. Crabbing and fly fishing have been fun breaks in between painting sessions.
Learning how to perfect the temporary/nomadic/makeshift studio space.
